Meet the people behind our success.
After beginning his career at Lufthansa, David began his journey with private jets as a broker. Joining Air Hamburg in 2014, he worked with Algernon to build up a sales team of over 40 staff. In 2023 David left to co-found LUMINAIR.
Chief Executive Officer
Julia joined Air Hamburg 2018 straight from university and quickly rose up the ranks to finally lead the post-sales Flightcare team, ensuring excellent customer service every day on the fleet of over 40 aircraft. Julia left her leadership position in 2023 with a team of more than 25 staff.
Chief Experience Officer
Alexander began his career in the cockpit with the arrival of Air Hamburg’s first XLS+ aircraft in 2009. He worked his way up to captain on the Legacy 650 and played a key role in developing the operational and safety culture within the company before departing in 2023 to co-found LUMINAIR.
Chief Operating Officer
Algernon began his career in business aviation as a broker for then-nascent PrivateFly. Algernon then joined Air Hamburg in 2014, where, with David, he was instrumental as head of sales in the growth of the company to over 40 aircraft and a revenue in the hundreds of millions. Algernon left in 2023 to co-found LUMINAIR.
